Two eminent doctors of the country, Dr Minu Bajpai, Professor and HoD, Department of Paediatric Surgery, AIIMS, New Delhi and Dr Ram Samujh, Professor and HoD, Department of Paediatric Surgery, PGI Chandigarh, visited the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH), Katra. Dr (Brig) Man Mohan Harjai, reputed Paediatric Surgeon and the Chief Administrative Officer, SMVDNSH along with Dr (Col) Rakesh Chander Sahni, Medical Superintendent, accompanied the dignitaries on a round of the hospital. During the rounds, they had a very meaningful interaction with different consultants and exchanged their views in regard to relevant clinical issues. Both the visiting dignitaries were highly appreciative of the Shrine Board’s role in creating a splendid infrastructure in a challenging location. In particular, they were delighted to witness the NICU set up; both in terms of state-of-art medical equipments as also the excellent patient care to save the life of critically sick new born babies.
