Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani was discharged from SKIMS, Soura, here on Wednesday following “perceptible improvement” in his health condition.
“However, he has been advised to get himself readmitted within a couple of days for the cardiac check up,” a Hurriyat Conference handout issued here today stated. Meanwhile, Hurriyat has thanked all those who visited the hospital or enquired about Geelani’s health over phone and prayed for his speedy recovery. “Hurriyat also thanks the SKIMS staff particularly the doctors attending upon him including director and medical superintendent,” the statement said, adding that “Geelani Sahab is living with pacemaker for the last 30 years, which has developed some technical problem for which he needs to be kept under observation for a couple of days
