SP Model Higher Secondary School organized its annual road race from SP School, MA Road to Botanical Garden here on Thursday.
In the event around 100 students participated. Waqar Ahmad finished first while as AnisMushtaq finished second. Syed Abdul Basit finished third.The prize distribution ceremony was held later at school auditorium. Chief Education Officer Srinagar Naseer Ahmad Malik and Principal Reyaz Ahmad Sidiqui were guests on the occasion.
CEO Srinagar on the occasion praised such initiative by the school management to conduct co-curricular activities which is an important facet of education and grooms students to earn name and fame in the field of sports.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony Principal of the school Reyaz Ahmad Sidiqui called for students to participate in such events for their all round development.
